MY STORY
From a young age, I was captivated by human potential and personal growth. I inherited the nickname "J-Oprah" in middle school as I was known for my obsession with Oprah and my admiration for all the inspiring people and stories I watched on her platform. My journey into the world of coaching began in college, where I explored the profession deeply, even writing my senior thesis on it.
After graduating, I took a job at an investment bank, but it quickly became clear that my soul wasn’t aligned with the rhythms of the corporate world. I made a bold decision to quit and pursue an unpaid internship with an executive coaching company in New York City, forcing me to move in with my 86-year-old grandmother. This experience taught me the harsh reality of following one's passion without having financial stability, inciting the desire to balance wealth and purpose.
From there I transitioned to a role as an executive recruiter for high profile VC-backed companies. Despite the prestige of working with “successful people”, I still felt unfulfilled. It was during this time that I hired my first coach to help me plan my exit strategy, leading me to ultimately launch my own business in 2010.
Initially, I focused on career coaching, but soon, people with jobs but lacking passion came to me seeking guidance to build their own ventures (a journey I knew well!). Over the years, I helped these individuals structure their ideas, design offerings, and scale their businesses - many to impressive heights. Beyond the material successes came incredible stories of people believing in themselves, taking control, and transforming their careers and lives with renewed purpose, fulfillment, and creative inspiration.
My business has evolved from career coaching to personal branding and business strategy, but my core mission remains the same: helping people stay true to their purpose and realize their potential in both business and life.
Nothing lights me up more than seeing people use their talent and resources to create more meaningful contributions. My "World Beyond Our Own" initiative invites you to explore global perspectives, seek adventure, and gain experiences across cultures.

Wrote my thesis at Tufts University on the Profession of Coaching
Quit my first job cold-turkey to intern at a coaching company in NYC
Became an Executive Recruiter for the top 20 VC-backed startups
Hired my first coach to help me career transition to entrepreneurship
Graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2010
2010s
Started my Coaching business full-time in 2010
Moved to Portland OR and transformed my health with intuitive eating therapy (this was major for me)
Co-won a $65k trip around the world with a client - thank you Ashley & Travelocity!
Hired as a Business Coach for the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, helping to develop some rockstar personal brands
Now
Moved to Nosara, Costa Rica to learn to surf, speak a new language and enjoy a nature-centered lifestyle
Created a community of international friends and colleagues.
Built several digital courses (failed my way to become an expert Producer of courses, oh the stories I can tell!)
Met my latin love Marco, adopted 3 kittens, and bought land as a founding member of an eco-community (ECHO Village) we’re creating

MY VISION
Let's face it: we’re at a place of chronic overwhelm and disconnection. The bombardment of social media brings anxiety and despair from loops of constant comparisons. What seems like pleasurable distractions often compound to a sense of a meaningless void that disconnects us from LIFE and the magic in real connections.
Entrepreneurs are bombarded with countless steps, strategies, and messages of seven-figure successes. We're expected to wake up to tens of thousands in sales, leaving us questioning our competencies if we don’t, wondering – "What am I doing wrong?"
The increasing demands of our careers, continually moving the goal post, and pushing to reach new heights leaves us rattling with inner conflict between ambition and enjoying the abundance before us.
How do we define a healthy growth trajectory, one that is stable and lasting?
What is the cost of doing too much or not enough?
How do we cope with the personal sense of failure that inevitably arises and the disappointing voice that speaks loudly “when will I finally make it”? Impatiently wanting to be “there” – not here.
With every new internet icon or phenomenon, our heads spin; we can't hear ourselves think and we lose sight of how to do things in our own style. The gap between our day-to-day and our authentic selves grows wider.
